Curricular Structure
PPGGO is operated in strict sense, which means that it contains and develops activities on any day of the week and / or any time of the morning, afternoon and night shifts.
In a rational way, and seeking to meet the needs of their target audience as much as possible, PPGGO teachers / advisors are instructed to, whenever possible, offer their disciplines and carry out their orientations at times that can meet a greater number of interested (night periods and Saturdays).
On the other hand, the entire PPGGO faculty is involved in undergraduate activities, for which they were effectively hired. Postgraduate activities are voluntary and unpaid, which does not allow them to be required to act only in graduate school. In practice, attempts are made to reconcile undergraduate and graduate schedules, in addition to the administrative activities that the majority undertake in their daily lives.
Together with CAPES (which is the government agency responsible for the regulation, regulation and control of postgraduate studies in Brazil), PPGGO is inserted in the Interdisciplinary Area (with Note 4 on a scale that goes up to 5).
This classification is strategic, as it allows projects in the most varied areas of knowledge to be developed in their lines of research, however, all must be aligned with the area of concentration of the program, which is that of Organizational Management.
We work strongly with applied research, looking for solutions to everyday problems in public and private organizations.

- 04 credits in complementary activities according to Resolution CPG-08/2017
- 16 credits referring to the development and approval of the master's dissertation.
1.1 Subdivision of disciplines
1.1.1 Block of basic training subjects
PPGGO has in its curricular structure approved by CAPES three large blocks of disciplines. The first of them is made up of the basic training subjects, among which are 3 compulsory subjects and 3 optional subjects, namely:

It is important to point out that the one who defines which elective course will be taken is the guiding professor, due to its usefulness for the development of research by his student.
1.1.2 Block of subjects in the concentration area
The second block of subjects is composed of the training subjects in the PPGGO concentration area, where there are 9 possible subjects to be taken, namely:

The block of disciplines in the research line involves two large sub-blocks of disciplines, which are grouped according to the two lines of research of the PPGGO. Obeying the line of research for which he was admitted in PPGGO, the student must, with the consent of his advisor, choose and take 1 course, paying in more than 4 credits. The 2 sub-blocks that represent the blocks of the disciplines of the research lines are:

The student must pay 4 credits in the block of subjects in the research line, taking 2 subjects belonging to the line of research to which he is linked and with the approval of his advisor in choosing these.
1.2 Credits related to the master's dissertation
After the fulfillment of the minimum of 22 credits as previously stated, the student must, in agreement with his advisor, be submitted to the qualification board composed of at least three PPGGO teachers (at this stage, it is not necessary to have an external member).
The qualification of the project does not grant credits to the student, however, it is a prerequisite for the defense of the master's thesis to be held, as well as the submission of at least one scientific article co-authored by the supervising professor to a journal. indexed at least as B2 by the QUALIS / CAPES system.
The defense board of the master's dissertation must be composed of at least three professors with PhDs and supervisors in graduate programs. In this case, two of them are allowed to be PPGGO teachers and the third must be an external member of the program.
The defended and approved master's dissertation will grant the student the amount of 16 credits.
1.3 Totaling credits
In order to fulfill the prerequisites related to credits, the student must pay at least 42 credits, corresponding to the sum of credits obtained in the subjects taken successfully and in compliance with the provisions of item 1 of this memo.
